Plate Roll Operator Pay Rate and Hours :
- Pay : $18-$22 / HR Depending on Experience
- Hours : 6am – 4 : 30pm
- Days : Monday-Friday
Plate Roll Operator Duties and Requirements :
Ability to run manual plate roll.At least 2 years experience preferred, but we can train.Process to roll steel material from a flat sheet.Materials vary from thin gauge up to 1” thick.Product types include Cylinders, Half Cylinders, Weld pads, and other structural parts.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Understand and work by company safety procedures. Perform duties as needed in other areas in shop in order to meet production goals.Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.Provides information by answering questions and requests.Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies and keeping up with job scheduleCompletes operational requirements and expediting work results.Maintains professional and technical knowledge, maintain a good attendance and on time.Contributes to safety work environment and attends safety meetings.Understands how to operate plate rolls using proper safety procedures. Skills / qualifications :Professionalism, Problem Solving, Supply Management, Verbal Communication, Teamwork ability.Familiar or willingness to learn other machines or dutiesMotivated and willingness to learnKnowledge of Math, English, read a tape measure and work with machinery.Safety-Sensitive RoleKey Personnel Benefits
