Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Portland, Maine (04102) – Maine healthcare jobs Facility : Level One Trauma Center – Operating Room Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : November 2, 2025 End Date : January 30, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 (includes 1 : 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100–$2250 Call Requirements : One overnight call (11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM for Trauma); additional call as scheduled per specialty team Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 Unit Beds : 26 EMR System : Epic Scrub Color : Teal scrubs provided by hospital Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (3 years Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred) Experience with EGS, burns, trauma, DaVinci Robotics, thoracic, and liver surgeries CNOR certification preferred Proficiency with Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot surgical equipment Strong clinical skills, teamwork, accountability, flexibility, and punctuality OR RN Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Level One Trauma Center Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures including general, GU / GYN, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular cases Participate in trauma call rotation and specialty team call as required Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards Take your next step in travel nursing and experience the best of Maine healthcare.
