Our client is seeking Behavioral Health Urgent Care RN (BHUC Registered Nurse).

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Nursing Assessments : Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of individual's mental health and substance use needs, including physical health assessments (PHR).
• Treatment Planning : Develop and implement individualized care plans, often in collaboration with a psychiatric prescriber or physician.
• Medication Management : Administer medications prescribed by MCMHA prescriber / psychiatrist, monitor patient responses, and document any adverse reactions.
• Patient Education : Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and coping strategies.
• Crisis Intervention : Provide immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
