Position : Echo Tech (Cardiac Sonographer)

Schedule : Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Four 10-hour shifts

Monday - Thursday, 7 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Comp Range : $41.14 - $63.40 + $10,000 Sign-On

DEFINITION OF POSITION :

Provide health care services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the field of echocardiography. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and / or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program or equivalent.

Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in echocardiography, and / or OB / GYN, abdomen, or equivalent approved certification.

Licensed in the State of Oregon as an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Bilingual in English Spanish a plus.

Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
