Job Summary :
This position is for a Cath Lab Tech responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. The role involves working in a Level I trauma center, performing various tasks related to cardiac procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The tech will work with middle and older adult patients, utilizing Cerner for charting and documentation.

Responsibilities :
- Assist with Cardiac Implant Closure Device procedures.
- Assist with Cardiac Stent Placement procedures.
- Perform Diagnostic Catheterizations on adult patients.
- Assist with IABP Placement / Removal.
- Interpret dysrhythmias.
- Assist with Left heart catheterization procedures.
- Assist with Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI).
- Assist with Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).
- Assist with Right heart catheterization procedures.
- Assist with Rotablader athrectomy procedures.
- Scrub Procedures.
- Equipment setup.
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Practice Isolation Precautions.
- Maintain Sterile Technique.
- Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab.ACLS certification.BLS certification.ARRT certification.RCIS certification.Experience with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab.Experience with Interventional Cardiac Cath lab.Experience with Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement / Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Scrub Procedures.Experience with Equipment setup and Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.Experience with Isolation Precautions and Sterile Technique.Cerner experience.Active license to apply.Preferred Skills & Certifications :

On-call required as needed, rotating with staff and agency. Call frequency details to be discussed with manager, flexible per census.RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days.Clinician will not float outside of scope to meet facility needs.Scheduling :
4x12 Days (0630-1900) or open to any shift, 5x8s, 3x12, 4x12s, 4x10s.Will work 2-3 weekends per contract.Schedule requests to be discussed with manager.
