Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist / Physician to work locum shifts in Lima Ohio (OH). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Obstetrics and Gynecology role : Dates of coverage : As soon as credentialed for 3-6 months. 10 call shifts per month Schedule : 24hr on call - 7a-7a Average Number of Admissions per Provider per day : 4-5 Call Ratio : Full time call for the entered dates Required Procedures : C-section and other delivery based procedures EMR system details : Meditech and OBIX Other Details of Role : 24 hours call for the OB floor Estimated Credentialing Time Frame : 1-2 months 12 or 24 Hour Shifts : 24 Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage : Yes Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions : Yes. Hospitalists Needed for First Assist : First Assist Available to the Hospitalists : Yes Hospitalists to Backup Midwives : No. Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice : No but yes too FM Residents. However, we have a Family Medicine Residency clinic who sees OB patients and delivers here. OB Hospitalists will back up those residents. Backup Available to the Hospitalists : Yes. (OB / GYN ED Call) Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role : OH state license; active, unrestricted Board certified OBGYN OH State DEA BLS, ACLS, PALS Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption Benefits : Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
