At Urgent Academy, we're looking for a passionate, student-centered educator to serve as a Learning Coach-Teacher—someone who thrives at the intersection of education, mentorship, and community impact.

This role goes beyond traditional teaching—it's an opportunity to :

• Coach and mentor students as they navigate interest-driven, project-based learning experiences.
• Empower students to discover their passions and develop skills that will prepare them for high school, career pathways, and life.

Schedule :

• FT / PT School day
• Extended Learning After School
• SY, Summer or Year-Round

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher and state teaching certification, preferred
• Previous experience teaching at the K-8 level is preferred
• Understanding of youth development principles and best practices in learner-centered education and project-based learning (PBL)
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication and technology skills
