BAM is seeking a Full Stack AI / UX Engineer to join its team. The Full Stack AI / UX Engineer II is a mid-level technical role specializing in leveraging AI to build and refine engaging UX / UI mockups, prototypes, and agent-first applications. This role centers around deep expertise in user experience, creative prototyping, and the use of AI tools to accelerate iterative design processes. You’ll be responsible for designing agent-first UX applications where users interact with intelligent agents to achieve their tasks and goals. Your work will shape the future of autonomous user experiences, merging traditional UX principles with groundbreaking AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to build and iterate on UX / UI mockups and interactive prototypes using cutting-edge AI technologies.

Apply agent-first design strategies to create applications where users engage directly with AI agents to accomplish work and solve problems.

Evaluate and improve the intuitiveness, accessibility, and effectiveness of agent-driven experiences through user testing, research, and rapid prototyping.

Leverage AI-powered platforms and tools to generate, analyze, and refine design concepts, enhancing both user and agent interactions.

Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI, user experience, and agent-first design to drive continuous innovation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in UX, AI, or prompt engineering roles.

Hands-on experience with prompt design and engineering using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar LLMs.

Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas.

Strong understanding of NLP, machine learning, and large language model architectures.

Experience with data analysis, visualization, and performance optimization.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS Bedrock or similar platforms.

Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Knowledge of UX research methods and usability testing.

Prompt engineering certifications or coursework.
