Our client is seeking a seasoned, innovative advertising Account Manager to operate as the “front door” and act as a go-between for our clients agency creative team and their partners ("clients"). Your responsibilities will include determining the client’s needs, explaining the creative process, recommending solutions, and working closely with project management to ensure a timely execution of all campaigns / projects.
To be a successful advertising Account Manager, you should be self-motivated and solutions oriented, you should have “big picture” thinking and the ability to inspire the creative team to exceed the partner’s expectations while expertly managing their campaigns and projects. Ultimately, a top-class advertising Account Manager is strategic, detail-oriented, organized and driven. This position should feel confident developing campaigns and strategies, proactively partnering with marketing counterparts for quarterly planning of ongoing and seasonal campaigns, and ensuring on-time delivery of assets to aligned objectives and KPIs.
Must be able to handle heavy project volume, multiple stakeholders, and multiple agency partners at any one time. Must be conversant in assessing creative briefs and communicating client strategy to the creative team.
The ideal candidate will successfully navigate the demands of business, creative / brand, and technology to help elevate the quality and scale of creative.
Responsibilities Demonstrates a passionate and proactive knowledge of our Partner’s (“client’s”) business and understands our Partner’s products, objectives and challenges.
Drives accountability of Partner’s business and marketing objectives to inform and drive integrated campaign solutions that generate measurable results.
Acts as the overall day-to-day lead on integrated campaign development and production and drives campaigns to completion – on time and on budget.
Develops and maintains consistent and thorough communication with Partners on all project status, timing and delivery.
Keeps Partners on track to ensure all ideas and concepts remain on brief and deliver against agreed KPIs and objectives.
Oversees integrated campaign workflow, timings and process with the project manager to determine and drive priorities and ensure milestones are met.
Oversees the campaign production budget(s) and considers cost efficiencies.
Represents in meetings and acts as agency lead when working with external agencies.
Effectively manages up to the Sr. Account Manager and Associate Director.
Mentors and trains the Associate Account Managers and helps to drive their success within the agency.
Focuses on identifying incremental opportunities within the work and finds cost-effective and creative ways to implement them with internal partners.
Articulates a POV (and / or presentation) to the internal team and Partners.
Manages Associate Account Manager’s workload and provides guidance and mentorship.

Additional Preferred Qualifications 5-8 years experience as an agency Account Supervisor or Account Manager or similar role.
Minimum 2 years experience in a retail environment (or other high-volume industry). Background in style or ability to speak that language (home, beauty, apparel, etc.).
Experience with project management tools, ideally Workfront.
Experience working with external agencies.
Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques.
Understanding of account management fundamentals, including issue identification / resolution, risk management, and resource allocation.
Additional Experience We Are Seeking / But Is Not Mandatory Experience working in Product launch or development.
Experience in Apparel, Beauty, Home, or CPG.
