Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,398 per week

The Job Description : Will accept a strong tele RN who is willing to learn vents / drips We are a blended unit of MS / ICU patients. 5 ICU beds and 27 MS. ICU RNs at times take 1-2 MS patients depending on acuity or ICU volumes in ICU. For example the ICU RN may have 1 ICU patient with 2 MS patients. Vents are 1 : 1 and ICU patients are 1 : 2-3 pending acuity. 1 : 5-6 ratios are for MS. In ICU 1 : 2-3 ratio depending on acuity. We also have CCTs with our RNs. We are flexible with scheduling. Bed Side Shift Reporting BSSR utilization of AIDET and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units. Travelers will be required to assist with the contact person role responsibilities - Monitor staffing throughout the shift adjust and modify staffing for the next shift shift information will be provided assign code blue team with monitoring staff from the day before and send out the daily sheet in the tube system to the house supervisor. Travelers will be provided with all of this information onsite. 13 weeks 36HPW 3x12 Days 0500-1730 Float within the skillset required Flex weekend / holiday rotation required No call Required : 2yrs exp ACLS BLS the ability to read Telemetry Strips as the position will need to read them once per shift in the ICU must have Higher acuity PCU or ICU exp as this is a mixed unit. The expectation will be to take PCU-ICU level pts. as well as MS.
