Reports To : Director of Commissioning

Role Overview

The Commissioning Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of mission-critical data center projects across the U.S. This role leads and executes commissioning (Cx) strategies to ensure all building systems function as intended and integrate successfully.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and experienced in commissioning mechanical, electrical, and control systems in data centers or similar high-dependency environments.

Location : On-site in Denver, CO

Core Responsibilities

Commissioning Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement commissioning procedures and strategies for data center projects.

Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to align Cx activities with project schedules.

System Testing & Integration

Oversee commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems to ensure full integration.

Conduct comprehensive system testing to verify performance aligns with design intent.

Quality Assurance

Ensure commissioning activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal quality requirements.

Work with QA / QC teams to resolve issues identified during commissioning.

Verify proper design, installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of all components.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Coordination

Manage third-party Commissioning Authorities (CxA), including onboarding, documentation, contract oversight, and field coordination across multiple projects.

Facilitate communication among all stakeholders involved in Cx activities.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate documentation of tests, processes, and results.

Provide regular updates and status reports to project teams and leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years in commissioning or QA / QC roles, preferably in data centers or other mission-critical facilities.

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls system commissioning.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Excellent organizational, coordination, and project management skills.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of $110K-$130K with performance bonus program
