Overview
Prolaio is building data-driven tools to support precision cardiology. We are seeking a data scientist with a passion for data-driven medicine, applying state-of-the-art methods to develop analytics, prediction scores, and dashboards to support clinical decision-making and patient monitoring. The role involves substantial interaction with clinicians to identify needs and develop solutions that improve clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Use methods of machine learning to summarize patient data into meaningful scores
- Develop dashboards to visualize analytics and predictions in support of clinical decision-making
- Engage directly with clinicians to gather requirements and iteratively refine analytics tools
- Collaborate with software engineering and product management to launch products
- Clearly communicate insights, methodologies, and product value to stakeholders and end-users
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Epidemiology, or other quantitative fields2+ years of industry experience in data scienceData Science
Strong skills in state-of-the-art statistical analysis and machine learningStrong skills in summarizing data into intuitive tables and visualizationsScience
Understands the scientific method, study design and hypothesis-driven experimentationPassion for transparent, rigorous and reproducible data scienceSoftware Engineering
Proficiency in Python and SQL (additional proficiency in R preferred)Dedication to engineering best practices (e.g., version control, documentation)Personal Attributes
