Job Description

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a positive experience for everyone on site. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Day Time Mon 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Tue 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Wed 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Fri 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Sat 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Sun 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as per site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
