As a Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the architecture, deployment, and integration of complex Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will partner with customers and implementation teams to ensure secure, seamless digital experiences while providing expert technical guidance. This position involves working with diverse industries, including finance, government, manufacturing, and utilities, and allows you to contribute directly to high-impact projects. You will apply your technical expertise to solve complex problems, mentor colleagues, and deliver best-in-class implementations. This is a remote-friendly role with occasional travel, offering exposure to innovative technologies and opportunities for professional growth.
Accountabilities
- Deliver technical consulting services to clients and partners across multiple industries, ensuring successful installation, integration, and deployment of IAM solutions.
- Evaluate client systems, processes, and technology requirements to recommend solutions that follow industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to assess current environments, define desired future states, and provide solution recommendations.
- Participate in solution design, implementation, and deployment of IAM products to meet client-specific needs.
- Develop internal and external technical resources, such as best practice guides, documentation templates, and knowledge articles.
- Support partner teams in designing architectures aligned with technical best practices.
- Address escalated customer issues requiring deep deployment expertise.
- Travel up to 20% as required to support client engagements and implementation activities.
Requirements
5+ years of consulting experience, with at least 2 years focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.Practical experience with IAM systems, including ForgeRock or Ping Identity products, and proven system integration and implementation expertise.Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP), authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC), LDAP, and data stores.Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, HTML, and CSS to support web application development.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while managing communications effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred : Security certifications, ForgeRock or Ping training badges, and familiarity with DevOps best practices, including CI / CD, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes.Benefits
