  • Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 30–07 : 00)
  • Hours / Week : 36 guaranteed
  • Weekend Requirement : As needed

  • Contract Length : Typically 13 weeks (RTO max : 7 days)
  • Orientation :

    • Week 1 : Classroom

  • Then : 2 × 12-hour shifts on the floor

  • Radius Rule :

    • Must live 50+ miles away

  • Cannot be currently or recently (within past 12 months) employed FT / PT / PRN with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity
  • Driver’s license required at submittal for verification
  • Fingernail Policy :

    • No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas

  • Refusal to comply = contract termination
  • Skills Exam (during orientation) :

    • Open-book , based on provided materials

  • Must score 90%+ or will be terminated
  • Cancellation Policy :

    • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract

    • Medical, surgical, orthopedic

  • Drips :

    • No titratable drips except Heparin

  • Telemetry :

    • Yes, on the floor

  • Centralized monitoring
  • RT : Available 24 / 7 – handles equipment (e.g., CPAP, etc.)

    • BLS (AHA only)
