Summary of Position
The Senior Commercial Escrow Officer / Closer will play a pivotal role in our operations, serving as the primary point of contact for complex commercial real estate transactions. This position represents the cornerstone of our commercial division, requiring exceptional expertise in managing high-value, multi-faceted property closings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and interpret complex legal documents including contracts, closing statements, deeds, affidavits, and settlement statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Calculate and verify prorations, payoffs, and disbursements for multi-million-dollar transactions
- Conduct thorough file examinations to ensure all closing requirements are satisfied prior to funding
- Facilitate signing appointments with clear explanations of all documents for clients and attorneys
- Disburse funds accurately and promptly according to closing instructions and legal requirements
- Maintain comprehensive and well-organized transaction files that meet audit standards
- Ensure strict adherence to Department of Insurance regulations, RESPA, and other applicable state and federal requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.Texas Escrow Officer License in good standingRequires at least 8 years of escrow experience, specifically 5 or more years in handling complex commercial transactions. A special emphasis on raw land development, light industrial, and multi-use and multi-family developmentAdept at utilizing SoftPro or similar industry transaction management platformsDemonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.Must be regularly available and willing to work at least full workdays from Monday through Friday and such other hours as the Company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.Physical Demands
