What you´ll do
Executes hazard communication for all products in applicable SBU and region, incl preparation of Safety Data Sheets and labels data
Identifies, determines applicability and timely communication of potential impact of new raw material on intermediates, finished products
Monitors, communicates and executes implementation of regulation changes
Registers new chemical substances, monitors global chemical inventory status, substance volume tracking
Participates in meetings and provides necessary support towards completing the PSRA check list
Maintains a thorough knowledge of products, chemistries and processes
Leads regional and global product safety and regulatory affairs projects to simplify, harmonize and streamline processes and procedures
Provides training to customer support functions in order to facilitate timely responses to basic customer inquiries at the local level
Ensures continuing familiarity with all of the latest applicable regulations and toxicological information
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, Industrial
Hygiene, Toxicology, Environmental Health and Safety, or other relevant
scientific discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical
industry.
Familiarity with North American industrial and consumer
federal and state regulations impacting chemical products (hazard
communication standards / GHS classification and SDS authoring, control of
toxic substances (TSCA, DSL), consumer product safety)
presentation skills and experience are desired; Ability to work
independently and within a variety of cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially
Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, familiarity with SAP EHS is
desired.

The salary for this role is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
