Manager - Construction

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager of Construction for capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in construction management, with expertise in managing budgets, schedules, and contractors to deliver high-quality results. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management :
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of capital improvement projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Supervise and manage contractors, and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to project goals and company standards.
• Work closely with property owners, tenants, and internal departments to define project requirements and expectations.
• Facilitate regular meetings and communication with stakeholders to address project updates and resolve issues.
• Negotiate contracts, bids, and change orders to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Address construction issues promptly to minimize delays and risks.
