job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRequired : 1+ year of experience as a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner Required : Valid Virginia NP license verified through the DHP in good standing Required : Master's degree in nursing with active and unrestricted NP Licensure Required : Strong clinical judgement, diagnostic abilities, and decision-making skills Required : Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen Required : Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required : Computer knowledge, ability to connect remotely with clients and conduct assessments / physicals / diagnosis / prescribe / and document remotely within the allotted time frame. Preferred : Mental Health experience Preferred : Co-Occurring experience Preferred : Assessment, Diagnosing, and Prescribing experience Paid per visit $100 for assessments, plus additional pay for physicals and no shows Weekly Pay Direct Deposit Pay Flexibility to work this position around another job or school schedule Optional Medical Insurance Open communication and ability to contact a staffing specialist seven days a week. Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced
- Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required working as a Nurse Practitioner in a Behavioral Health Setting
This is a PRN position to assist in assessments and physicals to admit clients into the program (assessments and physical completed within 24 hours of inquiry and may require work on weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on the needs) .

A Day in the life of a PRN Nurse Practitioner :
As a PRN Nurse Practitioner you will provide healthcare services to patients on an as-needed basis. This roles is ideal for a professional who enjoys flexibility in their work schedule and is capable of adapting to varying patient care needs. The PRN Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for completing assessments, diagnosing conditions, and prescribing medications. This would be remote assessments and physicals of clients ideally taking less than an hour for both per client.
