Seasonal Fulfillment Center Lead

The Fulfillment Center (FC) Lead will play a hands-on role in our dynamic operation at Clayton, IN. This individual will be a change agent who thrives on details, drives daily improvements, and fosters positive relationships with hourly Team Members! Shift : Wed-Sat 7a-5 : 30p

Support Area Managers in driving operational performance and engagement across a team of up to 45 hourly associates.

Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Ensure achievement of daily operational goals.

Coach, mentor, train, and develop Team Members for performance and career growth.

Serve as a cultural ambassador, modeling Chewy's operating principles, ethics, and integrity.

Act as a liaison between hourly associates and leadership, ensuring two-way communication and engagement.

Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving e-commerce environment.

Collaborate with site leadership to identify and implement network-wide standard processes.

Foster a positive and inclusive team dynamic that encourages feedback, adapts to change, and stays focused on the customer experience.

Use tools including the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Chewy Labor Management System (CLMS), Tableau, and Smartsheet.

Passion for working in an environment with a high degree of ambiguity and change.

Flexibility to work weekends and / or night shifts, as required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Walk up to 2 miles per shift.

Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Frequently lift up to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.

Rarely lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.

Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel.

Climb up and down stairs (where applicable).
