In this role, you will be a member of our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM teams standard is to manage each project like we own it. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to join our team on site in Nashville, TN. The Senior Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the seamless execution of projects by providing administrative assistance, preparing project reports, coordinating project meetings, organizing documentation, and ensuring effective communication among project teams and stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Under the minimal supervision of the Project Manager, you will assist with setting up and overseeing document control.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before submitting them to client.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with stakeholders throughout various stages of the project.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to gather necessary information for various functions.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication among project teams, stakeholders, and clients, relaying messages, scheduling updates, and managing project-related emails.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to project managers and teams, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing project-related documents.
- Prepare project status reports, project summaries, and other reports as required by project team.
- Maintain organized records and communications as required by the project.
- Keep detailed records of project activities, expenses, and progress, generating reports as needed for project managers and executives.
- Accurately enter project-related data into PMIS management systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Attendance at work during normal business hours (minimum 4 days per week).
Knowledge & Skills Required :
Understanding construction project lifecycles, methodologies, and practices, including the phases of planning, design, bidding, construction, and closeout are highly desirable.Proficiency in basic computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.Skill in looking forward and identifying project needs to support project management personnel.Strong organizational skills and task management, to manage duties as assigned.Ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize workload effectively.Meticulous attention to detail to accurately perform work as assigned.Ability to maintain organized and accurate records of project related documentation.Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint), and Project Management Software.Effective communication skills, oral and written, to address concerns and inquiries with team members and clients.Builds relationships with peers, leaders, and clients.Delivers quality work product by role modeling organizational core values.Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.Preferred Education and Experience :
Education : High school diploma is required, and associates degree in related field is preferred.Experience : 4+ years of related experience within the construction industry.Experience working with a General Contractor is highly preferred.The salary range for this full-time role is $65,400.00-$87,200.01 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidates experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
