Our client, Chandra Technologies, Inc., is seeking a User Acceptance Test Analyst for the DAVE application, a proprietary system used for collecting, registering and issuing vital records in the State of Maine. The role is responsible for ongoing application data maintenance, user acceptance testing for upgrades / new software releases, and communication of issues to the application vendor.
Work Location : 100% onsite for the first six months, then option to work remotely two days a week.
Responsibilities
- Complete user acceptance testing for the software, summarizing findings including defects and conveying future needs and enhancements.
- Utilize pre-made scripts to test functionality and document successful completion on SharePoint; use Jira to log any issues / bugs.
- Make sound recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the product.
- Analyze the functional and technical impact of product planning decisions.
- Participate in product design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional / technical requirements.
- Perform impact analyses on production fixes and enhancements to establish priorities.
- Provide basic product support and provide accurate and complete answers to detailed product questions in a timely manner.
- Provide effective on-site and over the phone product support as needed.
- Accurately set severity of identified defects.
- Provide input to training and / or documentation materials regarding latest technical and functional design changes.
- Document all work on SharePoint for future reference.
- Review the system test approach and conditions used as the basis for detailed test scenarios.

Required Skills & Qualifications
