Pay : $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Note : This hybrid position requires employees to be on-site 3 days a week at our clients Hackensack, NJ office.

Note : The qualified candidate for this position must have prior administrative experience in a law firm or professional services environment, preferably within tax, trusts, or estates.

Job Description

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing Trusts & Estates binders and related documents
  • Compile letters, emails, and materials for client deliverables
  • Assemble final binder sets for mailing, ensuring accurate formatting and FedEx shipment preparation
  • Print, label, and process outgoing correspondence and documents
  • Support attorneys during client meetings by preparing and organizing required materials
  • Submit check requests and manage administrative forms
  • Save and organize documents in the firms document management system (MyCase, iManage, or similar)
  • Open new client files, run conflict checks, and prepare administrative documents
  • Provide coverage for the Client Services Representative, including handling original documents and vault maintenance

Qualifications

  • Prior administrative assistant experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with trusts, estates, or tax law preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems (MyCase, iManage, or similar)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with attention to detail
