Overview

Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the Arlington, Virginia office. The role supports environmental due diligence projects and high-quality environmental solutions. Qualifications include a BS or MS in Environmental, Chemical, Geological or related Engineering or Environmental Science; 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in conducting environmental due diligence assessments (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Limited Environmental Compliance Reviews, desktop due diligence reviews) and environmental regulatory compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental due diligence audits for industrial and commercial transactions, including standard Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM standards and client-specific reports.
• Conduct limited environmental compliance reviews for industrial facilities, primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S.
• Prepare concise reports assessing potential environmental liabilities and compliance at manufacturing / commercial facilities.
• Provide general environmental compliance support to clients across a variety of regulatory program areas, including hazardous waste, wastewater / stormwater discharges, air emissions, chemical / spill prevention, and Community Right-to-Know regulations.
• Present findings in meetings and in email communications with project team members and industrial, commercial real estate, legal, and financial sector clients.
• Support multiple projects and maintain high-quality standards on project deliverables.

Your growth and work arrangement

As part of the role, you will operate within a hybrid work structure (approximately 3 days per week in the office) including reviewing project-related materials and writing reports, with occasional site visits and some local / regional travel.
