Controller

To manage the complex financial operations of twelve (12) entities within the District Cannabis manufacturing / retail organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) while managing a team of one (1) direct report and five (5) indirect reports and promoting a high-performing and positive culture.

Your role in caring for our company :

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Manage day-to-day operations comprising an overall accounting staff of six (6) highly trained and motivated individuals, of which one (1) is a direct report.
• Oversee the books and records of all twelve (12) entities within the District Cannabis organization, including reviewing and approving all journal entries ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with GAAP.
• Treasury management responsibilities, including bank transfers among our twelve (12) entities across several banking institutions, ensuring daily adequate funding.
• Bi-weekly review and approval of payroll for >

200 team members, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.

Team Leadership & Performance Analytics

All other duties as necessary.
