Student Technical Specialist
Position Summary
UNM faculty, Stewart Skylar Copeland (Art Department), is seeking a motivated undergraduate student to assist with a multimedia performance project that integrates live performance, real-time video projection, LiDAR-based point cloud imaging, and 360° media. The assistant will provide essential technical and documentation support during weekly rehearsals, ensuring that each session runs efficiently and that the creative team can focus on choreography and media development.
Responsibilities
Work Schedule
5 hours per week, typically beginning at 4 : 00 PM on rehearsal days
21 weeks total (November 2025 – May 2026, with breaks for winter and spring recess)
Schedule subject to change as needed
Compensation
$20 per hour
Approximately 105 total hours ($2,100) over the project period
Work Location
Rehearsals will take place at ARTSLab on the University of New Mexico campus.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
