Description :

The position involves providing care in a medical-surgical setting.

Nights are a primary scheduling requirement.

Every other weekend shift is necessary.

The nurse may be the first to float to other units for assignments.

Patient ratios are a maximum of 1 : 6.

Dayshift ratios are typically 1 : 5.

The unit consists of 23 beds.

Holiday requirements apply, with a maximum of one holiday off during the contract duration.

The setting is acute care with a focus on various medical and surgical conditions.

Effective collaboration and communication with team members are essential.

Candidates must possess strong nursing skills and the ability to work independently.

This role may involve charting in an electronic health record system.
