Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the practicing state(s) or proof of eligibilityMust have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.Valid driver’s license or reliable transportationResponsibilities :
Supervise CFYs, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as per state licensure and professional standards.Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, clinical and billing documentation, and work-related meetings.Attend and contribute to patient care conferences and related meetings.Refer patients to other disciplines or agencies as needed for comprehensive care.Consult with the rehabilitation team and physician to select appropriate therapeutic regimens for each patient.Adapt programs and care plans to individual patient needs.Ensure a safe environment and eliminate fire and safety hazards.Order necessary supplies and equipment.Maintain, clean, and report the need for equipment repairs.Prioritize patient service, providing high-quality, compassionate care that recognizes individual needs and rights.Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and develop treatment plans. Implement speech-language pathology treatments and document services in areas such as cognitive-communication, speech intelligibility, oral motor skills, swallowing disorders, perceptual abilities, orientation, memory, pragmatics, psychosocial expression, functional communication, and case management.Coordinate and instruct patients in using adaptive communication devices.Identify hearing deficits and refer for further assessment and rehabilitation.Select activities suited to patients' physical and mental capacities, intelligence, and interests.Instruct patients in therapeutic skills and techniques, and evaluate their progress, attitudes, and behavior.Perform routine re-examinations to modify or progress treatment plans as needed.Coordinate home and community care with the interdisciplinary team and referring physician.Other duties assigned by ManagementAbout AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing :
