Detection Engineering Manager

A company is looking for a Manager, Detection Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of detection engineers to identify and investigate threats in various telemetry

Manage, mentor, and coach direct reports while defining operational metrics for improvement

Build relationships across teams to enhance customer experience and lead root cause analysis for quality issues

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or security engineering with people management experience

Technical proficiency with Identity, Cloud, and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools

Desire to mentor and manage highly technical teams

Experience in creating and managing operational metrics to improve team efficiency

Ability to manage relationships with organizational leaders and drive initiatives to completion
