Sr. Technical Program Manager

Amazon's Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

The Sr. Technical Program Manager role in Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) Operations will be at the forefront of defining requirements and establishing partnerships with field service providers that will support KGS end user broadband deployments and integrations worldwide.

This role will be the Single-Threaded Owner (STO) for large, complex, and strategic field service partnerships to support satellite terminal installations. The role will own business requirements, partner selection and operations per country, align teams, and track progress for multiple interconnected workstreams.

Key job responsibilities include :

Developing the field service provider selection and operations strategy and vision, and develop per-country partnership roadmaps to execute on that global field service vision.

Working closely with sales, operations, supply chain, program management, procurement, and executive teams to launch field service partnership, develop and grow in-country installation support models, and enhance the Kuiper customer field service experience.

Owning the end-to-end management and implementation of communication between KGS field service providers and internal teams for partner-facing systems.

The position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS / SCI.

Basic Qualifications include :

5+ years of technical product or program management experience.

5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.

5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.

Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
