🚧 Construction Superintendent – Columbus, OH 🚧

My client, a well-established Commercial General Contractor based in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join their team. This is an urgent hire with interviews starting immediately.

About the Role :

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations of commercial construction projects. You’ll manage schedules, subcontractors, safety, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will serve as the key on-site leader, working closely with project managers, owners, and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Maintain construction schedules and proactively address delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to align on budgets, timelines, and project goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders on-site.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction .
  • Experience with multifamily projects is a strong bonus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage crews and subcontractors.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to start ASAP .
