  • Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial door and millwork projects
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop material and labor estimates
  • Collaborate with senior estimators, project managers, and other team members to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and material availability
  • Maintain product knowledge and familiarity with computer systems
  • Assist with project planning and bidding processes
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and respond to bid inquiries
  • Coordinate estimating with plant scheduling and review job cost data post-project for continuous improvement
  • Qualifications :

  • Some prior experience in construction estimating or a related role preferred
  • Knowledge of doors, frames, hardware, and installation procedures
  • Ability to work with contractors and internal teams effectively
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and high accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with management, customers, and vendors
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel
  • Integrity, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and grow under the mentorship of an experienced estimator
  • Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Drug Test
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $35.00 - $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
