Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

A company is looking for a Workers Comp Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely processing of claims

Contact relevant parties to gather injury and insurance information, and submit claims to insurance carriers

Provide customer service support and assist in training new employees

Qualifications and Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred

1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or Workers' Compensation

Proficient in data entry and MS Office applications

Strong customer service background and organizational skills

Ability to adapt and manage a large workload effectively
