Summary

ADI is seeking an Implant Rebuild Equipment Engineering Technician.

Typical Responsibilities include

  • Perform repairs, and preventive maintenance of Ion Implanter assemblies and subsystems, which require the following skills :

Mechanical assembly

  • Sand blast cleaning
  • Pneumatic, Cooling Water, Vacuum, and Plasma generation troubleshooting
  • Following equipment maintenance and repair specifications
  • Problem solving multi-variable systems
  • Preferred Experience

  • Semiconductor Experience, specifically with Axcelis Purion, Axcelis GSD HE, AMAT 9500, and / or other Implant platforms.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills and ability to productively engage with individuals from a range of backgrounds.
  • 1+ year experience with robotics, mechanical systems, motors, automotive, PCB troubleshooting , vacuum systems, pneumatic systems
  • Demonstrated history of strong mechanical and / or electrical aptitude
  • Able to communicate and work well in a team environment
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, practical thinker, and problem solver
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and / or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.     The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $28 to $35.
