Shipping Associate

We are looking for a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our team, specializing in packing and shipping corals and other saltwater livestock to both consumers and businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for the careful handling, picking, and packing of marine life to ensure safe delivery. Your primary duties will include preparing items for shipment, labeling packages, and coordinating logistics with carriers like UPS and FedEx, with a focus on overnight shipping. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as you will be handling delicate livestock that requires proper care during transit.

Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipping operations is highly preferred, as you will be tasked with efficiently organizing orders and maintaining a smooth workflow in our shipping department. Knowledge of coral species or saltwater aquarium care is also a big plus, as it will help you better understand the unique needs of the livestock you'll be handling. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that all packages are properly labeled, temperature-controlled, and handled in compliance with our safety standards.

Physical fitness is important for this role, as it requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and be on your feet for most of the shift. Familiarity with shipping software and processes, particularly with UPS and FedEx, will give you an edge in this position.
