Job Summary
The Director, Radiology Clinical Operations - Adult Services serves to provide geographic and / or population-based oversight for the Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Service Line. This role works in partnership with the modality leaders and system business unit leaders. Responsible for collaborating with and executing on business unit strategic initiatives with overall oversight from the health system executive team. Serves as the main radiology point of contact for the respective geographic / business unit leadership team making sure service level standards are met. Has dotted line accountability to the business unit COO. Works cross-functionally to ensure system, service line, and business unit standards and goals are aligned and met.
Designs and oversees administrative operations across multiple clinical professional services. Accountable for the overall administrative planning and coordination of human, fiscal, and material resources. Establishes operational objectives and action plans. Assists with the development and implementation of new policies and programs. Directs regulatory compliance, quality and safety initiatives. Reviews recommendations for new programs. Direct reports are typically managers and supervisors..
Compensation : The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The annual salary range for this position is Salary Range : $144,200 - $350,000, with a target entry point of $250,000-$295,000+ depending on experience.

Department Description
The UCSF Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services (including diagnostic and body / neuro interventional radiology). These services are offered at 15 sites throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area, with additional growth ongoing.
