Job Description American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Pediatric Float Pool position requiring at least one year of experience and valid OK or compact RN licensure.

Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Pediatric Float Pool unit

Care for a variety of pediatric patients with health needs ranging from simple to complex

Night shift position with holiday and weekend requirements

Three 12-hour shifts per week

Responsible for providing competent nursing care, administering medications, and monitoring patients’ physiological data

Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

Engages with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at discharge

Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff

Requires coverage for holidays and weekends as scheduled

Environmental exposure includes a varied pediatric patient population in a busy float pool setting

Requirements Active RN license from Oklahoma or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Minimum of one year of RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required

Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required

Good communication and organization skills needed

Ability to effectively address the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility
