Locum Tenens Obstetrician / Gynecologist Near Columbia, TN We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Columbia, TN. Key Details : Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type : Call-only Practice Setting : Inpatient Shift Type : 24-hour call coverage Duties and Responsibilities : Inpatient Care : Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in an inpatient setting. Call Coverage : Be available for 24-hour call coverage, handling admissions, consultations, and patient care as needed. Admissions : Manage admissions and oversee patient care in the hospital environment. Rounding : Responsible for rounding on nursery patients as required. Required Skills and Procedures : OB / GYN Expertise : Deliver routine obstetric and gynecological care, including handling various procedures and emergency situations. Patient Volume : Manage approximately 2 patients per shift. Procedures : Perform typical OB / GYN procedures, with a focus on inpatient care. Certification and Licensing : Board Certification : Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory. State License : Must hold an active Tennessee medical license. Certifications : BLS and ACLS certifications required. Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 7 days. EMR Systems : Familiarity with eCW and MedHost is preferred. Additional Information : Hospital Bed Capacity : 16 beds in the department.
