Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead Sitework / water - sewer - drainage Estimator with a minimum of 10 years’ experience estimating in this field. An ideal candidate would be self-motivated, honest, driven, responsible and punctual, with a good work ethic, respect, and integrity with the ability to work well with others in a team environment. Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowing Spanish is a plus but not required. SMC requires a background check and is a drug free work place with random testing.

Qualifications & Skills Include but are not Limited To :

• Minimum of 10 years estimating experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word
• Evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that details have been reviewed to successfully provide the clients with an accurate price
• Have a thorough understanding of scopes with the ability to read, understand and do take offs on blueprints
• Prepare and submit proposals to clients
• Prepare and submit purchase orders to vendors
• Clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
