IT Specialist - MD

Overview

By utilizing broad engineering expertise along with sophisticated 5-axis CNC machining and special processing, we deliver solutions that are responsive to customer needs.

Compensation for this role : $25.00 - $29.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Shift : On-site Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
• Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management.
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Escalate advanced technical issues to senior IT personnel as needed.
• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly and patiently with users.
• Assist with the preparation of user and technical documentation.
• Adhere to IT standard work processes and suggest improvements to policies and procedures.
• Work in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules. Reports any unsafe work conditions to the Safety Manager, supervisor, or management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Demands

The employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours with periodic breaks. Employee may occasionally stand and / or walk, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds. Must be able to move throughout the office and manufacturing area, including between multiple buildings in an industrial campus setting, and talk / hear or otherwise communicate with employees, management, and others.
