• NIHSS Required or willing to complete certification prior to start
• Willingness to work every other weekend

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty.

The nurse will care for patients with neurological disorders, including Stroke, Epilepsy, and Multiple Sclerosis.

The unit specializes in post-operative care for spinal surgery, ortho-surgery, and related procedures.

There is also a Neuro Monitoring Unit for patients experiencing seizures.

The nurse may be required to float to other units as needed.

The nurse to patient ratio will be 1 : 4 or 1 : 5.

Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis is preferred.

The unit supports a diverse patient population and works closely with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy and Pharmacy.

No holiday requests will be accepted.

Holiday dates may be discussed with the manager for accommodations.
