Assistant Project Manager

Our client, a regional fabricator of natural stone, has an immediate need for an experienced, Assistant Project Manager, to join their winning team in Westbury. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Review architectural drawings, estimates, shop drawings and field dimensions. Research materials, confirm quantities, order and track deliveries throughout the life of the project. Perform administrative duties including creating of purchase orders, change orders & requests for information, submitting samples & other submittals and filing digital information & paperwork. Maintain organized job files on company servers. Track job budgets and update project status sheets to assist Project Manager in hitting deadlines and profitability targets. Be organized and engaged enough in the projects you are working on to answer basic questions and produce information and backup as needed. KEY REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s Degree strong preferred Basic knowledge of construction and a familiarity with reading blueprints is required.
