IoT Design Engineer

We're seeking a full-time IoT Design Engineer with expertise in pressure transducers, flow meters, vibration accelerometers, and other process sensors. Strong knowledge of Modbus, CANbus, and experience with engine, motor, or generator controllers is required. This role focuses on designing and integrating advanced sensing and communication solutions for next-generation industrial systems.

Salary range : $70K-$90K (DOE), exempt.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION :

Under general supervision, with some latitude for unreviewed action, plans and designs mechanical & electrical equipment, as approved for product development programs. Engages in hardware / software troubleshooting and end-user support of existing monitoring systems. May provide technical guidance and assistance to other Cornell Engineers, Technicians, Drafters, and Sales personnel by performing the duties outlined below.
