Our facility in Cape Canaveral, FL has an immediate opportunity for a Level 2 Program Planner to join our mission. As our Program Planner, you will be responsible for supporting Weapons System Infrastructure and Capabilities Project Managers in developing and maintaining comprehensive Military Construction schedules and supporting the FBM Capability Definition and Solutions PMs to develop program plans and schedules. Support the preparation, execution, and maintenance of new or existing planning products
Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) leveraging the Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS)
Identify Critical / Driving Paths, performing probabilistic / deterministic risk analysis, and developing corrective actions
Provide the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.
Be responsible for meeting Earned Value Management requirements for some supplemental schedules
Communicate IMS performance and health metrics, report on major milestones, and integrate with planners across the Program to build and understand interdependencies amongst schedules
Our level 2 employees typically have 3 - 6 years of experience.
Basic Qualifications :
2-3 years of prior planning / scheduling experience (e.g. prior aerospace / defense program planning, construction planning, educational planning, operational planning, logistical planning, business planning, event planning, etc.)
Planning experience, use of scheduling tool(s)
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance
Desired Skills :
Bachelors degree preferred
Active Secret security clearance
Experienced in discrete planning
Knowledgeable in Project Management basics
Milestones Pro or One Pager experience
Open Plan or Microsoft Project software experience
Proficient communication skills

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position : 9x80 every other Friday off
