Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)

Facility : Imaging Radiology Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist

Start Date : June 17, 2024

End Date : September 16, 2024

Duration : 13-week contract

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift : Day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1810 - $1940

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting

Proficiency in at least one imaging modality : Vascular, MRI, CT, Dexa, or Diagnostic Radiology

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders and established protocols

Operate and maintain radiology and imaging equipment safely and efficiently

Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety

Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic health records

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
