Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Operations PT in Elk Grove Village, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at the property, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, visitors, and staff to address concerns and provide assistance as appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and report maintenance hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and site leadership.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
