Starting pay : $14.81 plus tips

JOB SUMMARY :

Courteously and efficiently interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction while dining, in accordance with all Company standards, procedures, and policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Greet and seat guests
  • Operate cash register and cash handling
  • Assist with guest inquiries
  • Assist with takeout orders
  • Clean host area
  • Assist with restaurant cleanliness
  • Assist with food preparation – desserts, salads, and beverages
  • Assist with bussing of tables
  • Satisfy guest complaints promptly

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

Education and / or Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of how to mix drinks a plus.
  • Language Skills :

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills :

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

    The employee regularly is exposed to hot and cold temperatures from walking back and forth from kitchen to the front of the house. Floors in kitchen may be slippery from grease or water spills, to ensure safety please wear slip resistant shoes.
