As a Security Professional Resort Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment, while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $20.85 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thursday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Friday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Saturday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sunday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel and resort property, including the interior, exterior, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and providing directions or information to guests and visitors as needed.
  • Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to support a secure and positive experience for all occupants.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
