LHH is assisting a client in Charlotte, NC with their need for an Interim Accounting Manager .
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes; provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Assist with cash flow management
Report directly to the Director of Finance providing regular updates on financial status and key issues.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
Proven experience in a senior or management level accounting or finance role; ideally as a controller or an accounting manager.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory standards.
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Duration and Compensation
This is a temporary, full-time position, with an expected duration up to 6 months (exact period may vary based on organizational needs). Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Pay Details : $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
