Controls Engineer

Role : Controls Engineer

Location : Verona, WI with travel up to 40% of the time

Salary : $85-130k DOE

Position Overview : We are a systems integrator focusing on machines and controls for automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. The position requires experience in PLCs, CAD, AutoCAD, HMI, Allen Bradley, and Siemens software as well as excellent technical writing skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop / modify PLC code and HMI applications
• Create and modify CAD drawings and AutoCAD schematics
• Design, install, and maintain instrumentation and control systems
• Provide technical documentation, instruction manuals, and user guides
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance on instrumentation and control systems
• Visit jobsites including overnight travel for commissioning, design meetings, and installation supervision
• Maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships as well as design schedules and scope of work for use in bidding and construction
